THE QUARRY AT GIANTS RIDGE - HOLE 1
The Quarry Course opens with a moderately long par 4. The tee shot should get near, but not go over, a steep DROP off at about 275 yards FROM the tee. O.B. is far left, but shouldn't come INTO play, and the fairway is a generous 50 yards wide!
The second shot is to an elevated and mildly contoured green, requiring a carry of two pot bunkers well in front of the green and avoidance of a waste bunker – the first of many on the course the golfer will face – to the left. This is a very solid starting hole.
