THE QUARRY AT GIANTS RIDGE - HOLE 18
The finish at the Quarry Course highlights the Embarrass Mine Lake.
The golfer will see the lake on the tee and FROM the fairway and on the green. After a good tee shot to the corner, the golfer will be confronted by one of the most difficult shots ever seen! Although the water is on the right, the wide green will have a fairway entrance to the left allowing golfers a chance to reach the green.
The contours of the green assist the golfer who aims over the pit with a slight fade stay on the green, as the green will slope almost continuously FROM left to right. The difficulty is eased somewhat by "save" bunkers perched just above the ledge down to the lake.
