Camp at The Ridge
Planning your troop trip to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness? Consider meeting at Giants Ridge before you embark on your adventure - it's the perfect place to kick off your Boundary Waters expedition! Giants Ridge will customize our services to fit your needs.
Lodging $15 per person
Gather your group at Giants Ridge. Our sports dorm is a great place to stay, and the cost is just $15 per person. We offer 24 rooms that sleep four in two bunk beds. Each room has its own bathroom with shower. Towels and linens provided.
Meal Plans
Meal times and selections must be reserved in advance. Entire troop must choose only one option per meal. Groups of 10 or more are served in the Chalet dining hall. Smaller groups are served at other designated locations.
Breakfast
Eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, toast, milk & juice - $7.50 per person
French toast, sausage, milk & juice - $6.75 per person
Box Lunch
Deli sandwich, chips, cookie, fruit and canned soda. (At Giants Ridge or "to go" on the bus to Ely.) - $8.25 per person
Dinner
Spaghetti & meatballs, salad, breadsticks, and fountain soda - $8.25 per person
Burgers, hot dogs, chips, baked beans and fountain soda - $8.00 per person
Transportation
Groups are responsible for transportation to Giants Ridge, and for the return trip from Northern Tier to airport or pick-up points. To arrange transportation to Giants Ridge or airports, contact:

Drivers have knowledge of area. Will transport to and from Ely or Atikokan, Ontario scout base. Area sight-seeing and trip-planning available from Minneapolis, Duluth or Hibbing.

Recreational Activities
While you're at Giants Ridge, enjoy some of the state's best recreation. The Giants Ridge Summer Rental Shop has everything you need for:
- Indoor Pool $2 fee per scout, please bring your own towels.)
- 18-Hole Disc Golf - Scout Special $8 includes rental discs and course fee (reg. price $10)
- Mountain Biking
- Paved Bike Trail (Daily Pass: $5)
- Please reserve your troop's recreational activities in advance.
