CROSS COUNTRY TRAIL SYSTEM: The Gold, Bronze, Summit, Cedar and Northern Lights trails are Pisten Bully groomed. The remainder of trails are groomed by snowmobile.

Summit--OPEN WITH A FEW BARE SPOTS (Skate & Classic) 6 k; two-way
Laurentian--CLOSED 8 k; more difficult
Northern Lights--OPEN WITH MANY BARE SPOTS 3k; one-way
Silver--CLOSED 10k; more difficult
Oslo--CLOSED 5 k; easier
Biwabik Spur--CLOSED 6 k; easier
Bronze--OPEN WITH A FEW BARE SPOTS (Skate & Classic) 6 k; easier
Cedar--OPEN WITH A FEW BARE SPOTS ON THE SOUTH FACING HILLS (Skate & Classic) 5 k; more difficult

All of the cross country trails at Giants Ridge are groomed and tracked every other day on rotation. Please note that snowfall, snowstorms, and wind play a key role in the grooming schedule and can cause surface changes on recently groomed trails.
